Hey there!

We’re Sherry and Lindsey, a mother-daughter duo. Our family farm started as a dairy farm in the 1950’s by my great grandfather John. The farm turned to corn, tobacco, and cattle. Now it’s used for hay and cut flowers.

Our family always had a vegetable garden growing up, whether at the house, farm, or both. Lindsey’s fondest memories include picking beans at the farm with her grandparents and breaking them in the garage while watching it rain. Lindsey volunteered at a community garden for 7 years that donated thousands of pounds of food to feeding ministries in Central Kentucky. One of the volunteers began growing flowers at the community garden to encourage pollinators and to donate to nursing homes. Lindsey found herself among the flowers after harvesting vegetables and fell in love.

After moving back to Dry Ridge in 2020, Lindsey and her family have been putting the farm to use. We’re using a small part of the farm so that we can manage what we have. It has grown from a few rows in 2020 to now several plots.

We’re excited and hopeful to be apart of the flower farming movement in the US to provide locally grown lovely flowers to our community.

We hope you stick around to see what grows and enjoy some beautiful flowers.
